Dated Feb 25, 1894
Informant, baby’s father, Francescantonio F., age 26, was a peasant/farmer in Frigento. He reported that, at 5:20 a.m. on the 23rd of the current month, a female infant named Filomena, was born in the house at 2 Contrada San Marco, to his wife, Mariantonia Di Leo, who was living with him. She too was a peasant/farmer.

Witnesses to the declaration of the birth, and presentation of the infant, were Francesco Caviglia, age 40, a telegrapher, and Giuseppe Mugnai, age 37, a property owner.

The witnesses and town official signed the document below. The informant, however, did not sign, as he was illiterate.

Can someone tell me if there is a minimum of files that I can attach to my post each day? Sometimes I try to attach a second file and I cannot.

You're very welcome. I can't find any info about there being a minimum that you can upload. Hopefully someone else will help you with that.

And I have another one for translation.
Also, where on the record, does the mother's name appear? That would help sort out relatives without bothering anyone on this forum. I did not know my surnames were so common in Italy.

This one is a challenge. I am pretty sure that it is my grand aunt but as you can see, there is another "record" on top of the record.
