Appeared Michele Cipriano, 35, peasant farmer residing in Frigento, to declare that at 9:25 AM on the 18th of the current month at the place at Contrada Roseto #19, to Mariantonia Famiglietti, his wife, peasant farmer living with him, was born a female child. The child was presented to the official and was given the name MARIANGIOLA

Thanks, Tessa! I will have to check that marriage out as soon as I finish going through all of the birth records. Looking at them one by one is tedious but it gets the job done eventually.........thanks for all of your help.

Record #31 for Gaetano Cipriano dated Feb 18, 1891 at 9:40 a.m. in the town of Frigento. Appearing was Vincenzo Cipriano, age 28, a peasant/farmer living in Frigento. He reported that, at 2:15 a.m. on the 17th of the current year, in the house located at #8 Contrada Masseriola, a male infant was born to Teresina Montecalvo, his wife, who was living with him. She too was a peasant/farmer. The male infant he was presenting was given the name Gaetano.dmurphy1940 wrote:Another record found for translation!
Witnesses were Giuseppantonio Famiglietti, age 46, a mason, and Camillo Assanti, age 51, a property owner. The town official read the present act to all who intervened. Only he and the two witnesses signed below. The informant (the baby's father) did not sign, as he was illiterate.
