#82 for Maria Giuseppa Ciampi
Dated June 17, 1894 in Frigento

Appearing was Felice Ciampi, age 35, peasant/farmer, Frigento.
He reported that, at 8:40 P.M. on the 14th, in the house at #3 Contrada Mefite, a female infant was born to his wife Tommasina D'Avino, who was living with him. It was this infant whom he was presenting and to whom was being given the name Maria Giuseppa.

Witnesses to the declaration of the birth, and presentation of the infant, were Gaetano Pelosi, age 52, property owner, and Donato di Rienzo, age 44, landowner.

Felice Ciampi was illiterate and did not sign the document with the town official and the witnesses.

Hello Dolores,
I'm Giuseppe Ciampi's daughter and I think you sent us a letter asking about Maria Giuseppa Ciampi. Is it true?

Yes! We received the letter last weekend.

All my family is trying to get information about your grandmother.
At that moment I can only tell you that my father knows that Felice Ciampi and Tommasina D'avino, who were living in Frigento via Mefite 3 had some children. But anyone remembers exactly how many children they had. He knows that they had a sohn called Giusseppe(the grandfather of my father), a daughter called Grazia and probably another daughter called Maria. At that moment we really don't know if Maria is your grandmother but we know that some of these moved to Usa, Giuseppe Ciampi( the grandfather of my father)also moved to Usa.
Can you tell me some other information about her or about her brothers and sisters?

I'll let you know if we find other informations.
