translation!

Post by ginaruiz1998 »

Hello! Can someone please take a look at this Atto di Morte for me??? It is quite lengthy and appears to have quite a bit of info in it! It is for Maria Salvo....it's Numero Sei....if I am lucky I think it just may be one of my last pieces of my family puzzle!

I would appreciate any help. Grazie Mille!

This is a correction to the death act of Maria Salvo.
It corrects a material error of fact... where it states Domenica Campo, it should read Domenica D'Aveni.

Thank you! Can you give me any more information? I am trying to verify if this is my Great Great Grandmother's Atto di Morte. Does it give the date of the original death act? My GGG Granmother's name was Domenica Campo...and she married a D'Aveni...so I am trying to figure out the details and see if this fits in the tree!

Thanks!

Looks like #16, Parte I, in the 1901 book of death acts in Novara di Sicilia

Here is the link to the record (bottom right of image)
Father: deceased Michele
Mother: Domenica Campo (later rectified... Domenica D'Aveni
Age of Maria Salvo - 55
Wife of Giovanni Bolignari

Gina, don't forget that in Italy women keep their maiden name! your GGGG grandmother Domenica Campo did not change her surname when she married a D'Aveni.

Yes! I remembered that! But I just figured it is still worth looking at...if only to rule it out! :)
