I need help translating information on the back of pictures.

Post by fisherfive »

Hello! I have been doing a lot of research on my Italian heritage (mother's side) and have a number of pictures that have writing on the back. I have tried Google translate, but it is difficult for me to read some of the letters. Can someone help me? i would like to attach pictures of the wording, but am new to this site and need help knowing how to do that. Diane

Hello and welcome, Diane!

We have had success with image-sharing sites such as www.postimage.org

When you upload your image, scroll down to the URL choices... choose the one for "Thumbnails for forum1" - and copy and paste it here.

We are happy to take a look and translate for you :-)

I understand they lived in France, and the grammar mistakes of the children make me think they were more French than Italian-speaking.
