'universita' as location, question

'universita' as location, question

this marriage records uses the term Universita to reference where someone lives. I am curious as to the use of this term. I assume it does not mean it's literal translation - university.

I had found the following, at some point, as I also have records which used the term--

Università:
under the Napoleonic regime, the comuni of the Kingdom of Naples were called Universitas civium (It. comunità cittadine) or "Communities of Citizens".
