This is not a literal translation...
This family, have their origin in Mussomeli, too.
Founder was Salvatore, son of the deceased Luciano and of Rosalia Canale, peasant, who, after going to live there, married on Jan 7th, 1838, Loreta Ricotta, daughter of deceased Giovanni and Maria Ognibene, who died (this seems to refer to Loreta) at age 40, on Sep 9th, 1855.
They had children:
Luciano, who died Aug 15th, 1839 at age 1;
Federico, peasant, who died at 42, on Nov 11th, 1883, and had married Francesca Ognibene daughter of deceased Salvatore and Marianna Cassenti, on Sep 4th, 1867; she died at the young age of 26 on Mar 1st, 1877. After remaining a widower, he married Giuseppa Tripi daughter of "Maestro" Giuseppe and Concetta Lo Destro on Apr 7th of same year;
Rosalia, who died on Jan 7th, 1862 at the very young age of 18, unmarried;
Salvatore, who died Aug 4th, 1853 at age 1
Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi
