Parents of Stanislaus Volpe and Anna De Piano

Post by bfr2u »

Stanislaus Volpe was born about 1840 in Santa Lucia di Serino, Avellino, Campania, Italy and died 24
May 1914 in West Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, USA, He married Anna De Piano who
was born about 1862 and died 03 May 1907 in Italy. They had nine children including
in order of birth Gennaro, Enrico, Edward, Ralph, Giuseppe, Domenico, Nicolo, Antonio,
and Teresina. Stanislaus immigrated on 10 Jul 1907 to the USA along with the five
youngest children shortly after Anna's death. I need assistance in identifying and
locating the parents of both Stanislaus and Anna.

Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely, Boyd Robinson, bfr2u@gmx.com

You may wish to write directly to the Comune of Santa Lucia di Serino with your inquiry as there does not appear to be records available online for this town.

Tessa78,
Thank you so much for your response. I will try LDS records first and see if I can get additional information on the family before writing to the Comune of Santa Lucia di Serino. I really appreciate the detail of your response as I am a neophyte at researching Italian genealogical records.
Sincerely,
Boyd Robinson
