His parents were the late Giuseppe Martone, farmer, living in life in Frigento and deceased Maria Giovannisello??​​ farmer living in life in Frigento. Amato was the widower of Carmina Ciampi.

I'm not sure I have Amato's mother's name correct. Will go away and come back and look at it again with fresh eyes - it is often clearer to me then.

The name Giovanniello appears in Frigento so I think that it is probably "Maria Giovanniello".
