DEATH RECORD NO 82 – AMATO MARTONE

Record is dated 28 August 1885 at 9.20 a.m. Frigento.

Appearing is Gennaro Cipriano, aged 60, farmer, living in Frigento and Giuseppe Martone, aged 38, farmer, living Frigento to declare that Amato Martone, aged 67, farmer, living and born in Frigento died at 3.30 p.m. (ieri – yesterday so died 27 August) at the address No 32 Contrada Roseto. His parents were the late Giuseppe Martone, farmer, living in life in Frigento and deceased Maria Giovannisello?? farmer living in life in Frigento. Amato was the widower of Carmina Ciampi.

I'm not sure I have Amato's mother's name correct. Will go away and come back and look at it again with fresh eyes - it is often clearer to me then.

The name Giovanniello appears in Frigento so I think that it is probably "Maria Giovanniello".

You are very welcome. :D

(Initially I had Amato's gender incorrect - not sure why :? Maybe my brain wasn't completely engaged at the time. )

Enjoy your day.
