I would like to find out more information about my family. My father, Cosmo Forte, was born in Sesto Campano on 7 Dec 1928. His parents were Anna Di Nardo and Raffaele Forte. He had about 12 siblings- some of the names that I can remember are Antonio (who went to the United States, particularly in Rochester, NY), Pasquale, Raffaele, Maria, and Giuseppe. Cosmo met and married Filomena Galardi of the same town (her information will be in a post called "Galardi").

I am very interested in Cosmo's mother, Anna Di Nardo. She always spoke of having two sisters who went to live in the United States but once they moved there, she never heard from them again.

Well may I suggest that you do your homework as I did mine. Go to the library or bookstore and obtain the book Italian Genealogical Records by Trafford R. Cole and should you hit A brick wall then get back to us. Research is your job, directing you to websites, addresses and information is my job.
