Parents: Caterina and Augusto
Apparently lived in Pittston,Luzerne,Pennsylvania
Augusto was apparently a miner. I'm new at this please help. Thank you. Any advice would be appreciated.

If he ever naturalized, you can find in his declaration of intention and petition, date and place of birth, date and port of arrival, ship of arrival.
After you know the place of birth
you can go on
www.comuni.it
and digit his place of birth
Look for "ufficio di stato civile" and you can request birth certificate

Tried what was suggested to no avail. have been to ellis island site but can't find Caterina on any list and the Augusto states single yet should be married. Looking for any relatives of theirs still in the states. Know Adolfo died in early 70's in Italy. Thanks
