my paternal grandmother, maria costante, was born in barcellona pg in 1883(hence the given surname costante).ignoti genitori.her adoptive parents were maria bonarrigo, her wetnurse(b.1847 in gualtieri sicamino messina)and francesco landino(b.1851 in palermo).my grandmother and her adoptive mother arrived in boston in 1902 to reside with maria bonarrigo's son salvatore(b.1872 in barcellona pg).she died 10 days later.on her death record it states she was the wife of francesco landino.but as he never came to america, and most likely died in sicily,i have no locality or time frame in which to conduct a search for his death record.in 1902 he would have been 50 and could have lived another 50 years.he was born in palermo so i checked deaths there.nothing.he had resided in barcellona pg with maria(probably never married as at the birth of their daughter rosalia (b.1877 in barcellona pg)they were listed as"non coniugale",or not married.can't find his death there either.i have only his birth record, and nothing is noted there regarding when/where he died.are there any other records or options available in my quest to locate his death record? any help would be most appreciated.
