Post by Romano1970 »

Hi all, just a quick question. I am scrolling through what seems to be a boatload of census sheets for NJ-PASSAIC COUNTY-PASSAIC. It will not let me drill down to the street name. I just stays at ALL. has anyone been able to drill down to a precise street??

Thanks

What site are you using to search?

I have luck getting to the street names with stevemorse.org

Here is the link for searching the 1940 US Census
http://stevemorse.org/census/unified.html

Choose state, then county, then town - you will then see a drop-down box for street names.
When you choose a street name it will narrow down the ED and then you can view that film.

Hope that helps -

If not, give us a link to the site you are using and we'll see what's up.

Hi Mike!

On the NARA site, choose the "search" tab instead of the "browse" tab. It will allow you to enter a specific street name... :-)
