I have recently found another child of my grandmother.
But the record does not reflect my grandfather.
This child died January of 1926 and my grandparents marriage was August of 1926.
And the name of the father is crossed out.
Any ideas of the crossed out name?
I see Alsino or Alsini as a surname.

Re: Robert E Paccasassi
The Alsino surname is also crossed out on the child's name... looks like it reads - Robert Ermelindo(inserted) Paccasassi Alsino(crossed out).
Under father's name it could be a misspelling of Placido for first name.
Child was born in RI on 11 April 1925.

Thanks Tessa.
I really could not figure out the first name.
And to add to the mystery, there are no records in Rhode Island for any Alsinos.

Re: Robert E Paccasassi
According to the 1925 Rhode Island Census - which was taken on 1 April 1925...
Emily (Emilia) Paccasassi was age 18 and residing in the home of her parents at 87 Sutton St., Providence. This is the same address noted on the death of Robert Paccasassi...
And since Robert was born on 11 April 1925, it is probably safe to assume that Emily was unmarried and living with her parents at the time of his birth.
The surname Alsino is very scarce in Italy with only a few instances at the present time in Piedmont region. AND - the surname Alsina is not found in Italy.
