Here's the city's official website. You might want to email a request to see if they will help. Email address is at the bottom of the main page.
Martina Franca

My Italian's not the best, but here's a possible email.

Egregi Signori,
Mi chiamo (your name) ed abito a (your city, state) Stati Uniti. Io tento di accertare lo cimitero dove mio nonno, mia nonna e miei altri parenti sono sotterato. Vi sarei molto grato se poteste spedirmi informazioni.

Distinti saluti.

Gentlemen,
My name is (your name) and I live in (your city, state) United States. I am trying to determine the cemetery where my grandfather, grandmother and other relatives are buried. I would be very grateful if you could send me information.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
My grandparents and those before are from Italy. I remember the town Martina Franco would come up in conversations. My grandfather was Martin Lodeserto. He married Mary Pallotta. How would I start searching their family? I am doing a family tree and I would love to find distant relatives.

Oh my goodness! Thank you! Yes, the dates of his birth does match. My mother's birth certificate is Maria Stella ( must be named after her grandmother then). This is so exciting!
