Father's Family - Mother's Side (DiMarco...

Post by mandiepandie92 »

I am looking into my father's mother. She had passed away in 1985. I would like to see if there is any record traceable of her mother. She had passed away when my grandmother (Anna Dimarco (Iacopelli) was only 3 years old. Here is the information I have:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2WV5-F8W
The link states:
Rosina DiMarco
Death: Feb 5, 1931
Place of Death: Manhatten, NY
Birth Year Est: 1904
Father: Nicolo Cioscio
Mother: Carmela Warnagnia

I hope to have more information about her family if possible. Thank you :)

It is believed rosina was adopted. Are there any records about this? Could her birth parents be traced if she was adopted?

Thank you all so much for this information.

Is there any further information going back farther. Are there any occupations of the families or siblings to Rosina or Gaetano? Is there any other records to link them to Ottati in Salerno as stated as a suggestion.
