ticket prices, where to find copy of old tickets?
ticket prices, where to find copy of old tickets?
I was wondering if anyone knew the price of a ticket from naples to new york in 1907. Also was there a ticket given to the passengers, if so can I find a copy of these tickets somewhere?

If this link works (give it a minute to load, it's a yahoo site):
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranc ... voyage.htm
Turn of the century tickets were abt $25-$35 depending...
I'm sure the experts here may have some idea's on the actual tickets.

I forgot to give credit on the link I posted.
The website is called "150 Years in Brooklyn, A Family History" by Michael Reilly. I found it very helpful for background information for both immigration, southern Italy and Brooklyn.

Hi,
I actually have a copy of my Grandmothers ticket from Naples to Boston via NY in 1912. It cost 42.00 to go from Naples to NYC, and 4.00 to get to Boston. This was handed down to me, so I wouldnt know how to find copies, but I thought you might like to know.
