Sinatra Family in Vallelunga, Caltanissetta Province

Post by jerrys1024 »

In previous posts, I have seen folks looking at or receiving Church Records. I have had searches done on the Civil Records but never those from the Church.

Here are the family members and documents that I have found so far.

Loreto Sinatra & wife Francesca Miceli, married June 3, 1871
Giachino Sinatra & wife Francesca Insinna, married March 8, 1897
Giachino Sinatra, born Nov 14, 1871
Francesca Insinna, born Oct 29, 1873

Are there any Church records for these families or earlier generations. All events to date have been in Vallelunga, Caltanissetta Province.

Thank you.

I would ask Marcello DAleo to look in the book Le famiglie di Vallelunga and copy the pages of the Sinatra family line which probally goes back to the 1700's with all the branch lines of Giacchino Sinatra, born Nov 14, 1871 in Vallelunga its very detailed with dates and other information
The other option is Family History Library film rental of Chiesa cattolica. Santa Maria di Loreto (Vallelunga, Caltanissetta in latin)

Thank you, Marty, for your response and wealth of info.

I am particularly interested in the book Le famiglie di Vallelunga.

How can I contact Marcello d'Aleo? Do you have an email or other online address for him? Is he a regular contributor to this Forum?

I am very new to this Forum so do not know my way around the system.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
