Dipasquale / Tempesta
Dipasquale / Tempesta
Hi everyone. Trying to help my wife find info about her grandmother's family. Her grandmother was Giovanna Dipasquale Martin (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cg ... d=72727636). I've found a reference to her parents' names: Giuseppe Dipasquale and Vincenza Tempesta. I have no other info beyond this, other than they were in San Severo around 1929, and that I've also seen the name spelled Depasquale. Any help would be appreciated!

Lots of info in that obituary.
Which lead me to the manifest with her coming to USA (attached): https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:245F-8N9

Re: Dipasquale / Tempesta
Photos are of possible parents of Giovanna ->Giuseppe DiPasquale and Maria Vincenza Tempesta
Possible parents of Giuseppe -> Matteo DiPasquale and Giovanna Galluccia
Maria Vincenza Tempesta -> Matteo Tempesta and Antonia Grazia
A lot of guess work in these trees from what I am seeing.
Could definitely start connecting dots and researching backwards though in civil records in San Severo off these names!

Re: Dipasquale / Tempesta
Thanks for the replies James. I've verified with her family that those pics are the right folks. The hard part for me has been finding documents on Giuseppe and Vincenza. Do you know of an online index somewhere for San Severo records?
Re: Dipasquale / Tempesta
Now that you know the right names it shouldn't be all that difficult to find records from late 1800's of the birth/marriage of Giuseppe and Maria Vincenza, etc. I and others can help here for sure. Does her relatives have any other information to help us?
