Altofonte marriage

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

Attached is a marriage. It looks to be Antonio Raccuglia and Pasqua Raccuglia. Is that correct? It also looks like Antonio was married to Marta?

Are the parents listed for anyone? In addition why are there three dates at the bottom? Are any of them the actual marriage date?

This is a tough one!

Thanks,

Chris

This is a marriage between Antonino lo Nigro and Pasqua Raccuglia. He was single and the natural and legitimate son of deceased Felice and living Ninfa lo Nigro. Pasqua Raccuglia was single and the daughter of Antonino (living) and deceased Marta Raccuglia.

BTW, I don't see the actual date of the marriage in this record. The three dates you see-Jan 26, Feb 2, and Feb 3, 1692 are the dates of the church banns, which resulted in no impediments to the marriage.
