:D You are very welcome, Pippo. I used dad's military record as a guide and translated the words from Italian to English.

He ended his military conscription on Sep 4th, 1935 and was put on unlimited leave.
On Mar 25th, 1936 he was called to arms again. He was assigned to the Genova Cavalry Regiment.
On Sep 5 he was appointed Corporal, and on May 15, 1937 Major Corporal
On Aug 22 he was put on unlimited leave.
On Sep 16th, 1940, he was called to arms again in the same Regiment, but he was put on unlimited licence for having two brothers already in the army.
The same happened on Jan 15-16, 1941.
Again on May 26,-Jun1 1941 (one more reason is "for being a peasant")
On Nov 30, 1941, he was put on unlimited leave.
On Jan 30, 1943, he was called to arms again in the same Regiment
He broke up after the armistice of Sep 8th.
One year later, he joined an Italian command.
On the same day, was put on unlimited license.
Put on unlimited leave from Aug 10th, 1945
