Anyone hear of a place called Cavalieri? Since cavalieri means knight, I was curious to know if either the surname or the town (if there is one) stems back to the middle ages when chivalry was still existent.
Would it necessarily mean that someone with that name stems from knighthood?
Is there a town called Cavalieri in Italy?
