Marriage Record No 25: Giuseppe Rocca e Concetta La Cana/La Cava?
Borgia: 17 December 1903, 4.14 pm
Groom: Giuseppe Rocca, 24yo, muratore (mason/bricklayer), born in Catanzano, residing in Catanzano, son of the late Cesare and the late Barbara Ruga.

Bride: Concetta La Cana/La Cava, 23yo, casalinga, born in Borgia, residing Borgia, daughter of Pasquale and Briciela? Morelli, both residing Borgia.

Witnesses:
Giovanni Sinatora, 26, and Giovanni Leonardo Severini, 28, both possidenti (landowners)

The marriage banns were posted 30 August and 6 September; and on 13 and 20 September in Catanzano.

The bride did not not sign the document because she was illiterate.

I'm reading La Cana as the Bride's name?
Casalinga - housewife - woman who who undertook domestic duties

That's great that mmogno has located the Marriage Bann for this marriage. Yes, both the names La Cava and Bricida appear much clearer in the Banns.

Gary, I was going to suggest that when you post records for translation from either Family Search or the Antenati Site, that it would be great if you could post the actual link to the record.

Cheers, Angela
