can someone help me finding details of Rosa la Ranta's family (b. 1867 may 5, d. 1933 may 25) from Sciacca or luca sicula in Sicily? she maried Rosario Mortellaro and they had 3 daughters one of them was Maria (my g-mother) b. 1903 june 16, and i don't have the names of the other two.

- Only your g grandfather Rosario MORTELLARO went to US.
He travelled back & forth between US & Italy, died in Italy.
- Your g grandmother Rosa LA RANTA b 5 May 1867 in Sicily,
d 23 May 1933
(you have her death certificate, looking for translation on another post)
- Your grandmother Maria MORTELLARO b 16 Jun 1903
did not travel to US.
- Two possible locations in Agrigento, Sicily: Sciaccia & Lucca Sicula

Corect, but not US, from what i've heard, after the death of Rosario Mortellaro, the father they ran away to Tunissia i think, but Rosa buried in sicily. my g-mother, Maria arrived to Morocco than to Israel, i don't have deatails or what's happend with her other two sisters.

If you want to know something about her cemetery record you can write to the same addresses of Comune: delete "Ufficio di Stato civile" and add" Ufficio dei Servizi cimiteriali"
