New Rochelle, 1920 New York Census search

Post by MauroMags »

Dear Genealogy masters,

I'm searching for census records for three individuals who may have lived in New Rochelle, NY during the 1920s. An ellis island manifest indicates their arrival in 1910 to New Rochelle and then again in 1912 to NYC

Maria Luigia Amato

her sister & brother in law

Elisabetta (Amato) Azzollini
Sergio Azzollini

thanks for any help

On the 1920 census there is a child called Sergio living in the same district. perhaps he might be their son - but I can't find the parents

There is a 'Declaration of Intent to Naturalise' for Sergio Azzollini in New York. Unfortunatley I can't get to the image - maybe someone else can?

Hi Mauro.

I don't think they did.....was unable to locate a WWI draft registration card for Sergio......back in Italy during the war?

Would be nice if Ellis Island had outgoing ships online!
