Trapani

Post by ricbru »

Hello listers,
I just want to share a picture, that I took last march, of Trapani, Sicily, Italy, my hometown and my ancestors town.
It is 33 centuries old.
I took this picture from the mount of Erice.
In front of it there are three islands (Egadi Islands):
Fravignana on the left, Levanzo on the right and Marettimo is behind Levanzo
I hope you enjoy it
bye Riccardo

Hey, nice photo! so... what is on those islands.... ever go to them?

I tried to climb a mountain in Italy... and what a joke!! They look so easy to climb...

How long does it take to climb up Mount Erice?

Hello Maria,
Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo are comunes so they have small villages, really crowded during the summer.
Erice is about 7-8 miles by car from Trapani,
