This must be one big family....

Other brothers could include Domenico, Benedetto, Liberato, ... Raffaelo, a possible sister Antonia Riccitelli DiPaolo (she named her sons Tommaso and Pietro...) ...

There's still American research to do...

So there's lots to look forward to ... as for the town Auduni... it is only 3km away from Gioia...

Thank you all for your help. I have searched the Ellis Island database for a long time and never came up with this.

Checked out that variation as well, I did see a few of interest, but daughter is not Clara.....and nothing concrete to tie together......so would be purely speculation.
have you looked for the manifest? never have liked searching for those......would be interesting to see what info they provide on both brothers.........

Hey Lisa,

Check the poster's post about having them on the 1930....."Pasquale with John & Mollie & Clara in school in different location> (Hartford, Hartford, CT, House of the Good Shephard, age 15 CT).

Any luck finding Pasquale on 1910 & 1920?

Hi Maria,

Good find...it's possible Pasquale & Teresa weren't in the US for the 1910 census.

dlradell,

You can request records from Southington Town Clerk. Here is the information (children's BC, Marriage?, Teresa's DC).

or you may want to check with a Hartford County volunteer at this site.

married to Teresa Testa??? dob 1887 died before 1921
children: Clara dob 10/10/1914 in CT

Hi,

Just wondering about Teresa's surname...

I guess you are not sure of the spelling or the sound?

Can you give us any information?

Did she have any siblings... etc...

jcsm........went thru several census today. nothing yet concrete to tie anything together.......and I am hesitant to post numerous speculations.....only serves to confuse or mislead the poster.

The manifest of Teresa and Pasquale had the following listed for Pasquale's
naturalization:

1-374184
date 8-19-41

I think it wise to pull US records as you stated, and file for the nat. records with above data.

Going over records found, we know the following.......

Pasquale made at least two trips to the US.
Had two brothers for sure, Thomas M. and Domenico.
Fathers name was Pietro.
Pasquale's middle name was Antonio.
I THINK Teresa died before 1918, as he does not list her or the children on
his WW1 registration.

Need to analyze some further records to see if any connections can be made.

Lisa,

Also went thru the census & can't really confirm anything....(no John, Mollie & Clara found together in 1920).

Thanks for the reminder. Knew there was something else to provide, but forgot the naturalization records!

I was told by my father in law that her last name was Testa. But I don't know if the info is correct. He told me his mother's maiden name was Remias and come to find out the correct one is not even close. So, all I know is that her name was Teresa and they had two children, Clara and Peter and lived in Southington, CT since the came to US. There are several Testa's also in Southington that are supposed to be related.
Thanks,

Denise

I found out about Peter last night.

Clara and Peter have the same mother and John & Mollie are 1/2 siblings to Clara and Peter.

All I know about Peter is that he died of meningitis while in the Navy.

Thanks
