Peter would make sense, Italian naming traditions....Peter = Pietro....

don't think we have the name of Molly and John's mother....would certainly help if you can discover that.......

Clara and Peter have the same mother and John & Mollie are 1/2 siblings to Clara and Peter.

All I know about Peter is that he died of meningitis while in the Navy.

Thanks
Denise

Clara's & Peter's mother is Teresa?
Who is John's & Mollie's mother?
I will see if anyone in the family know's this.

Update......have several pages of notes on the Rich - Riccitelli family....have some more records to track down....but at this point,
the Riccitelli families came from several areas of Italy......will be checking
for connections between these families to see if they are related or not.

Now for the Rich/Riccitelli families.......

There is a clear connection between Pasquale, Domenico and Benedetto,
Thomas, (and if the 1902 manifest is correct, there is also Alfonso.)
being brothers, not so with other Rich/Riccitelli families of Connecticut. I
would not rule out a connection...just nothing in way of evidence. Perhaps
cousins...

The majority coming from the town of interest in Italy are going to
New Haven, some changed their name, some did not. And there are alot of
them!!!!!!!!

Have not put Pasquale on 1920 census......and I know Nonna J
has looked high and low.......as she stated, they may have missed the 1910 census, he is not to be found in 1920, and you have 1930. I think the
Peter found by Nonna J is a good candidate........

You have the name of Pasquales father, and by writing to the comune or following up on leads provided by Nonna J......you should have enough info
to track down source documents.

If there is anything else you need......please feel free to ask.......and do
keep us updated........we love to hear succes stories!!!!

[posted][deleted][re-posted] ... better go to bed .. it's midnight here!

Auduni is a frazione of Gioia Sannitica; so I think you have everything to start your search in Italy for Pasquale Riccitelli! BTW there are 32 Riccittellis listed on the phone directory of Gioia Sannitica.
Here a link to Gioia Sannitica and its frazioni. The address of the town-hall is

Municipio
piazza del Municipio 1 (!! :D where else??)
81010 Gioia Sannitica (CE)

good luck
