Please help translate

Post by BagelAnne »

The good news...I have found cousins in Italy! Hurray!
The bad news...I can' read a word they write.

Please help me read this letter.
Also, is it possible for me to write a reply letter in English and have someone translate it for me?

One other problem, when I try to attach the scan of he letter to his forum I get the folowing:
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./uploads/forums/carmela.jpg.

You may be able to 'cut and paste' it onto an e-mail. If you can do that and send it to me at my e-mail address which you will find on my Profile, then I will willingly do the translation for you.

Of course someone else may see this who is 'au fait' with scanning documents and tell you how to send it - alas I'm not. Sorry!

If you like, you can use a upload hosting service such as imageshack to link your image to the forum. If you are uncomfortable with that then you could PM elba with your email addy and she will in fact reply.

Good luck and I hope you let us know how you make out.

Yes, thanks Nuccia - It is in hand now - I got a PM from BagelAnne.

I'll check out why my e-mail address isn't showing - I can see it when I click on Profile at the bottom of my posts then the e-mail 'button' is just below my avatar on the Profile page!

Thank you all. This is a very valuable service to people like me. Elba is translating for me by email. I will be looking into that imageshack you mentioned. I knew nothing about that.
