Could someone help me decifer...

Post by JamesBianco »

What is listed for the mother's name of the deceased on this Death act for my ancestress Francesca Fonti, who died 23 Oct 1845. She was born in a town called Pescopennataro (Isernia).

Francesca Fonti, wife of Pasquale Serafini

It looks like Carmella Frinslichini ??? It doesn't sound right. Anyone recognise the surname?

Thanks!

It does seem to be Francescini for the surname. The first name looks as if it begins with 'F' and ends with an 'a' or an 'e'.

I thought it might be Fulvia....

But you might find a better match here:
