Corrpoplese (sp?) and / or Fardelli family

Post by cateyanne »

Looking for relatives from a mountainous region in Italy called "Cinzano" or Cenzano". Last name is either Corropolese(sp?) or Fardelli. Husband is Ferdinand wife is Angeladea. They had a daughter named Giovannina who married Emilecare or Amelicare Ettorre. Giovannina had a son named Antonio Ettorre born about 1927, possibly in Guiliannova Italy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello
my name is Claudio Fardelli Corropolese and live in Argentina, my father, Ferdinando. was born in Canzano at 1930. He was Antonio's cousin. I met Antonio when he visit Argentina at 1998, my father died the following year. I wrote some mails with Antonio, but I lost a contact.
Sorry for my english is very bad.

Hello
What is your grandfather's name? ( your father's father) I believe Giovannia fardelli had a brother. Perhaps that brother had a son, your father. and that is how he and Antonio are cousins. I believe we have the right family, because Antonio did go to Argentina to visit relatives.
Thank you

The name Fardelli is a bit confusing to me. Grandmother-Giovannina/Giovanna Corropolese parents written as Ferdinando Corropolese and Angeladea Foschi. A brother is listed as Gino Corropolese. Another paper lists brother as Luigi (maybe second brother?) Brother "Gino?" marries Sandrina Mara. they have Ferdinando and Sandrina Corropolese. The really confusing part is, Giovannia's tombstone says her name is Giovannia (Fardelli) Ettorre. making it seem as if her maiden name is Fardelli, not Corropolese. I see that your name is Claudio Fardelli Corropolese. that's the second instance with the name Fardelli in the family. Do you have any idea where the name Fardelli came from. and why Giovannia/Giovanna doesn't have Corropolese on her tombstone? She died in 1985/1986 in Guillianova Italy. We are definitely related. Father- Antonio Ettorre is 89 years old and Ferdinando's first cousin.

In Italy, "Gino" is a nickname for Luigi.

Hello! Years have passed and I just see how this conversation continues. My grandfather's name was Luigi Fardelli Corropolese, married to Maria who died in 1932. They had my father Ferdinando Fardelli Corropolese and his sister Sandrina Fardelli Corropolese. I do not know the origin of the surname Fardelli, we have not been able to find it.
