About the Colatosti I found these:
August 8, 1900 : Colatosti Achille (1876) arrival in USA (no relatives in New York)
April 14, 1903 : Colatosti Pietro (1870) going to the brother Achille in 71 Mulberry street, NY
December 21, 1903: Colatosti Vincenzo 1881) going to the brother Achille in 71 Mulberry street NY
June 1, 1907 : Colatorti Pietro going to the brother Vincenzo 46 Mulberry Street NY
July 10, 1907: Colatosti Achille going to the brother in law Nazzareno Magnanini in NY (leaving in Italy wife Lucia Colatosti)
April 12, 1910: Colatosti Severino going to cousin Vincenzo Colatosti in 48 Mulberry Street NY (leaving father Santo in Fumone)
June 4, 1912 : Colatorti Angelo going to the brother Severino in 48 Mulberry street NY
All these mans where from Fumone and it seems that:
Pietro (1870) , Achille (1876) and Vincenzo (1881) were brothers.
Severino (1893) and Angelo (1896) were brothers.... but from the arrival manifest of Severino he declared to leave his father Santo in Italy....
Angelo in his 1912 arrival declared to go to his brother Severino.....
Sorry.... But you know that Angelo's father was Pietro...I'm a little confused 8O ....
Can you check my resume??

Hi KEB,
I believe what Laura is referring to is in your first post -
Angelo Colatosti
b. May 21, 1896 … came from Fumone , Rome, Italy
Angelo's Father - Peter Colatosti
Angelo's Mother - Loretta Cianpocca
You say that Angelo's father is Peter (Pietro). The manifests she found lists Severino and Angelo as brothers and their father is listed as Santo not Pietro (Peter).
What was the source for your information for Angelo and Pietro? (Hope you don't mind me asking).

Re: Looking for info on wife's ancestors - Fumone - Cas
Hi,
I have Angelo's WW I draft registration showing he was from Fumone - plus some remaining family remembers that too.
I have his marriage certificate (Sep 17, 1923) from New Haven, CT listing his Father as Peter - and his mother as Loretta Cianpocca.
I have his obituary from May 7, 1957 listing his brother as Severino and a son as Peter - as well as his mother as Mrs. Loretta Colatosti - also three other brothers Vincenzo, Orlando & Cesare all in Italy as well as two sisters - Mrs. Venerina DeSanto and Bernadina Colatosti in Italy.
So - now there is some interesting looks here. I also have a few other documents at home - I'm still at work now - when I get home I'll look at them and see what else I can relay.
Thanks for all the help !!!!
Kenny

Hi!
I have to correct what I wrote about Severino Colatosti....
The 1910 arrival manifest shows that Severino was going to his Father Pietro living in 48 Mulberry street and was leaving his father Loreto (but now I think there was a mistake... probably is mother Loretta) in Fumone....
I made this mistake because I red the line under Severino where someone was going to his cousin vincenzo in 48 Mulberry street....I apologize with you ..

Re: Looking for info on wife's ancestors - Fumone - Cas
Hi all,
Thanks again for the help. I was able to check his death certificate at home - and it also listed his father as Peter ...... and it seems we have that established now. Thanks for everyone's contributions.
Is there anyway to look up something on Angelo's parents from Italy ? Peter and Loretta's marriage ? Their parents ?
Thanks everyone !!!!
Kenny

Hi Kenny,
Here is the link for the LDS films which include Fumone. These are birth, marriage and death.

You need to locate a Family History Center (FHC) near you in order to view the microfilms. Here is the link to locate a center
