Mazza, Piccolo, from San Giovanni in Fiore

Post by donmaz007 »

I am the grandson of Antonio Mazza and Lucia Piccolo who imigrated from San Giovanni in Fiore in the early 1900's. I know Antonio had 3 brothers named Sam, Joseph and Dominick (remained in Italy). Lucia had sisters Maria, Theresa, and Angeline. I would like to know their parent's names and of any descendants living in Italy. I believe my Great Grandfather was Joseph Piccolo and Great Grandmother was Rose Bellotti. I would love to hear from any relatives from the San Giovanni in Fiore area.

Donald,

Did Antonio go to West Virginia? Was his brother Giuseppi in the US also?

The reason I asked was I found a number of manifests for Antonio Mazza from San G. in Fiore, but they were all going to WV. I'll keep looking.

Here is Lucia's manifest. It looks like they were going to brother Biagio in Pittsburg.

Hey Elizabeth,

Great minds......great finds. Let's find Antonio now. Maybe he went to Pittsburg too. Definitely PA, not WV.

Donald -

About what year was Antonio born? Or do you know about what age difference there was between Antonio and Lucia.

Did you notice, there is also a nephew, Joseph Brunetti living with them. One of Lucy's sister's children?
