Pacella's from Sulmona or L'Aquilla, Abrruzzi, Ita

Well, my mother just told me that she recalls that my Pacella surname (her maiden name) comes from one of these two towns in the Abruzzi region. Does anyone know of where I can do a surname search for that name in either of these towns? Is Abruzzi the province? We are really lacking in information regarding her maiden name so anything will help!

There are two pages of people with the Pacella surname in Sulmona.

Hi Mark! Another town that you might want to look into is Pacentro. It's outside of Sulmona but is in the province of L'Aquila. My tree also includes Pacellas and we are from Pacentro. If you need any help, let me know!
