I am seeking information on Fracesco (Frank) A. Loguercio, a shoemaker in Lynn Mass. I am looking for immigration records on his wife, Anna and son "James" Giovanni.

Re: Loguercio-Sanza Italy
Hello My grandfather, Antonio Michael LoGuercio born in Sanza 1885, came to US in 1921. Anyone have any knowledge of LoGuercio's still in Sanza?

One in the same in Lynn Massachussetts. We have several documents from the city of Lynn where his father (Frank) went back and forth to Italy working in the shoe factory before bringing hims wife and son (James) to the US.
Through a distant family relative who is also working on the line his daughter who a translator who lives in Europe located James' birth certificate in Sanza Italy and sent me the copy along with a translation his mothers name was "Venezia Angiola farmers wife of Francesco Loguercio. From what I understand my grandfather was the 1st child born to Anna & Frank, the rest of his siblings were born in the US. I will have to check the information Biff provided. That would be great though if it was one and the same.
I appreciate the assistance.

Re: Loguercio-Sanza Italy
This is definately my family. Thank you for the information. I am new to this part of the search so forgive my ignorance. How do I find information from Sanza Italy regarding the family?
Re: Loguercio-Sanza Italy
It appears that the Family History Library has microfilms of
Sanza’s civil records that you can order and view at
your local Family History Center (they’ll be in Italian)
FamilySearch homepage, to locate a center near you
film notes
Topic Italy, Salerno, Sanza - Civil registration
Titles #Registri dello stato civile, 1866-1910 Sanza (Salerno).

Re: Loguercio-Sanza Italy
I am thrilled just to see the name LOGUERCIO..
my family came from GRASSANO in the province of Matera, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata..
I have not been lucky fo many yrs in finding anyone who knew of the name or the spelling..
Do you have some info on the name? or do you know if you have other sources for the name?
I have even gone to "YouTube.com" and gotten some contact in the town of GRASSANO and asked for them to search the name for me..an unusual source but well worth a try!
