Piazza - DiVittorio

Post by Quiksilvez »

Need more ancestry members for Salvatore Cortesi Piazza and his Wife, Teresa DiVittorio... Both born in Trabia, Palermo, Sicilia in 1880's and they immigrated to San Francisco in early 1900's... They both were first cousins from Cortesi Families... I need more information on their parents, siblings, cousins, grandparents and the way back...

thanks,

civil records for Trabia, (PA) Sicily from 1820 to 1910 are onmicrofilm at your nearest family history library of the Mormonchurch (go to www.familyserach.org for nearest location to your home). Bring along a companion book Discovering Your Italian Ancestors by LynnNelson and a magnifying glass since the records are in Italialian and handwritten. =Peter=

Hi Suanj,

Many Many Thanks for the information, most of your information you just gave me do answering to my paperworks...

What about my grandparents' parents, both of Cortesi Families since they were first cousins...

And What about their cousins, Comella, immigration in Chicago...

And Rinella, immigration in San Francisco I think...

Be hearing from you,

I believe that Cortesi was the maiden name of Salvatore's mother and ditto for Teresa's mother.... abt Rinella... you mean Joseph and Carmela Rinella that in 1910/20/30 lived in Santa Clara, CA also? It are many Rinella emigrated... what it was they first names?.... ditto for Comella surname... ? I found a Antonina Comella from Trabia, married at Pietro Scordina/Scardina, in travel with children and joining at husband in Chicago http://ellisisland.org/search/shipmanif ... 2605030139
better to have the first name and more infos...

Yea, both grandparents' mothers had same maiden names... ( Cortesi )

About Rinella, The cousins of my mother, Kathryn Piazza Nelson, They were Antonio and Madeline Rinella, They were from San Jose, Santa Clara, CA... They had a deaf grandson who is deaf...

Now, about the Comella, they immgrated to Chicago... Anthony Nuccio and his wife, Mary... Rose Comella was their daughter...

Philip Thomas Sansone married to Mary Di Vittorio, my grandmother, Teresa's sister... So I need the rest of their family way back... So do my grandpa Salvatore Piazza...
