Translation of letter from Italy

Post by bousejg »

I recently mailed 14 letters to possible relatives in Italy. I received one response via email that was in English and today I receive via the mail a letter from a possible relative in Italy. The writing is beautiful but I'm having a hard time trying to tranlsate it. Some of the words I translate don't make any sense. Is there anyway someone can help me? Is it possible to scan the letter in so that someone can read it? My dictionary and my brain have gone into a dead zone:)

I tried scanning it in but the print is so light it didn't come through. So what I did is try to copy it into word (with my scattered translation underneath). I will send you the word doc and see what you can come up with.

Thanks,
