Could anyone tell me the origins or meaning of the surnames:

Scala
Signorelli
Mancuso
Albanese
Modano

Scala is used for terracing or tidal basins...anything graduated step like. Signorelli is used as a title of regard and der persons. Mancuso comes from Manco with possilbe meaning being left handed. Albanese comes from Albanian people and Modano either means a mold or crochet needles. I assume this is what you mean when you say you want the origins of the meaning.....Peter
