New user needs help

I am new to this game and because my grandparents were Italian and we had little knowledge of them I am having difficulty finding information on them and their parents. My GF was Peter Miner (Mineo) and as far as I can gather he and his brother Salvatore (Arthur) were born in Trapini about 1889 and 1894. Their parents were Gaspare Mineo and I think Elizabertha Scardino. Both sons came to Australia where they married. My GM was Catherine Russo, she was born in Aus, but her parents were Giovanni Russo and Maria Travaglia from Italy. I woulsd appreciate any help to find any information.
