"Sulzer" in Milano and San Remo 1937
Hi everybody!
I am searching for both the brothers
Willy Sulzer, book-seller, born in Germany,
lived in 1937 in San Remo, Vicolo Foce 5
and
Karlo Sulzer, tracer, born in Germany
lived in 1937 in Milano, Via Curzola 15
There were born around 1895.
How and where could I get started to find them?
Thank you for your help!

Re: "Sulzer" in Milano and San Remo 1937
The surname Sulzer is concentrated in trentino Alto Adige, and around Milano and Toscana so the www.gens.labo.net/en/cognomi website for the surname distribution in Italy. Go to www.paginebianche.it and put in SULZER in the first line and the regions of Trentino Alto Adige, Lombardia and Toscana.and click CERCA for the listings .You might also want to try Piemonte, Veneto and Liguria to cover the entire area. The listings are a mix of persons and companies..
You may wish to review these listings for the Sulzer having the first names of interest to you and contacting them. Form letters in Italian are avilable if Italian if you doo not wish to call them directly. Please advise if we can assist you further. =Peter=

Hi Peter,
thank you. That's from great help. I haven't known this side till now. Those form letters, where could I find them?
Furthermore, if this will not be successfully, is there any registry/administration/archiv which I could ask them for?
Regards

Dear Mr Fuchsi Go to www.nonsolocap.it and put inthe name of the town on top so that you get postal code,,province and region. Click on the name of the town where the person you wish to write to resides and when the screen comes uop you will find the address for the Municipal offices and where the offices of the records you seek are archived...UFFICIO DI STATO CIVILE which will appear inthe following website form letters.
Unfortunately, I have to leave out the www since this website makes it difficult inbring up the websites in certain instances.
The form letter for letter to potential relative is ...angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwisdom/saviello_italy-letter.html
The form letter for records is.....angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwisdom/italian-form-letters.html
I hope this works for you. =Peter=

Re: "Sulzer" in Milano and San Remo 1937
Hi Peter, Hi Riccardo, Hi Livio,
waw ... that's great!
thanks so much!
I've served already a bit wihin your sides and recognized that the request would be much better with the exact dates of birth. So I think I am going to search for the dates in Germany first.
But one more single question:
Do you send cash with your request (to the archive or population office..)?
Wish you all a nice weekend!

Re: "Sulzer" in Milano and San Remo 1937
The service is fre to begin with and the clerks who do the research do so as an end of day duty are poporly paid. $5-$10.00 bill in an enclosed self addressed envelope might be helpful. =Peter=
Re: "Sulzer" in Milano and San Remo 1937
Thank you Peter, and all the others again,
for your help and time.
Now I am full stuffed I think.
Let me know if I could be helpful in researching in Berlin or Germany!
Have a great week! Success with your research!
