casa di angelis
casa di angelis
I noticed on my greatgrandfaters birth certificate, his place of birth said casa di angelis. His parents are listed, but doesn't this sound like an orphanage? What does this mean?

You may try to upload it to Imageshack or to Postimage and then only post the link.corrado wrote:lol, I tried putting the entire thing out there and the posting would not take it , said it was too big.....ok I'll keep working on it..... sorry lol

Re: casa di angelis
De Angelis is a surname and I believe that Casa De Angelis refers to the house belonging to the family De Angelis. For sure it is not an orphanage and there is no street with the name casa De Angelis.
Re: casa di angelis
Thank you, I agree it is not a street, that is interesting, it the house of that family. Now, to find out who that family is? An almost impossable task I think.
Re: casa di angelis
Just a thought, could it be the house a mid-wife? would that be possible?
Re: casa di angelis
I've seen records where they stated the who's house they died in if they died away from home. So it could just be a neighbor or something. It may not have much significance- genealogically speaking.
