Dual Citizenship/Italy

Post by Jacs »

We have gathered all necessary documents for dual citizenship for my son who is planning to play basketball in Europe. We are in the process of getting documents translated into Italian and have an appointment date at Italian Counsulate next March in New York.

I have a relative in Italy...is it possible to expedite the process by having him deliver the documents to the authorities in Italy directly?

I put rodolfo's text into a translation programme and it came out as:

request to take over part of my grandfather antonio glabelen Florio calabria born 1886 died 1944 in Cosenza the joseflorio @ hotmail.com agradesco argentina

(the language is Spanish)

Sorry, it's something I know nothing about.

Perhaps the question should go to the Immigration/Naturalisation/Italian citizenship forum here:

Some of the previous posts there might be helpful too, I think
