What do you mean by "database locations"?? all cities, towns and villages by name or do you mean geographic location of all cities, towns and villages and the provinces that have jurisdiction and the regions that have jurisdiction of all the provinces in that region???? Please elaborate.

Is there a website your trying to open up? =Peter=

Zanna is referring to the menu option in the left pane. Under Databases - locations in Italy.

When you click on it the page is blank. Perhaps something happened when the site crashed yesterday.

That option has been disabled for quite some time, sorry.

However, the following site can be useful in tracking a location, also has the added benefit of a partial search:

Italian Town Locator

Your welcome Bob! :D

If I ever finish.... , I am working on a database of nothing but genealogy links....now that I have high speed internet again, should be a snap.....living in the country had it's advantages, and disadvantages...the lack of internet service being a major disadvantage!! So happy to be back in the city!!

Zanna is a last name so how could I know you were female? Thanks for letting me know. In the interim the best locator I came across is www.nonsolocap.it Is this the website you are talking about? and when you do come up with a name you can click on that name and the place website will come up for both town administration and tourist information.=Peter=

Hi Peter,
Your welcome. I never knew my nickname is a surname
Zanna is the name my grandmother called me, short for Rosanna.
Thanks for the link to that website.

Your a bonafide kiwi aren't you? There was one other kiwi I had contact with in the past. From what I gather NZ is much like The upstate NY adirondack mountains so it must be pretty. =Peter=
