Hi Peter

Back to my dilemma about contacting SherryT.

Do you, or should I say this site, surely there must be an email
address to send to subscriber when there is a reply on their
paricular post??

I am busy sending emails to the various communes in Sicilia regarding
my great grandfathers birth certificate, but I just have to be patient, no
response as yet.
Ciao

Hi there Peter

I have some great news!!!

I actually did what Jacobus suggested and contacted the various L'Ufficiale di State Civile in Sicilia and we now have a copy my great grandfather's birth certificate, he was born in Trapani, Sicilia!!

Now we need to establish whether he gave up his Italian citizenship, not so, so that we might be eligable for Italian Citizenship and/or ancestral visa? What is the best route to follow, do you think.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Grazie mille
Linda
