I'm trying to find information about my Grandfather and his parents.
My Grandfathers name was Romano Viola and he was born in Castelfranco Veneto TV on 31 march 1894. I am not certain but I believe his parents were Giovanni Viola and Teresa Serafin. My Grandfather, Romano Viola had 2 sisters Rena, Alba and 1 brother named Ettore. Romano emigrated to Canada in 1913 but his brother and sister never left Italy. I also believe he had an Aunt named Contessa Viola. I think Contessa Viola was the sister of Giovanni Viola.
I know it's a long shot but if anybody has any information I would greatly appreciate it.
I have the same information but that's as far as I'm able to go. I'm at the same dead end. I'm unable to find any more info than what is already there.

Searching in the Vicari area for Lomonaco family. Michael (Michele) in particular - probably born about 1865 to 1870.
Michele imm. to New Orleans about 1883, married Luciana Marsala, born in Corleone, daughter of Savatore and Maria Antonina Anzalone. Michael was living in Chicago by 1894. I believe he had a brother named Antonio and nephew Gaspare. Have gone through the Mormon microfilms for Vicari but did not find Michele, though did find other Lomonoco members in Vicari.
Other family names from Vicari are Guaggenti, LiRocchi (LiVecchi), Orlando, Balsano, Marsala, Anzalone, Geraci, and Pecoraro - I have births and marriages for these.
You may wish to post your search in a new thread for others to find.

We are interested in a genealogy tour of the Vicari area in April 2011 for one week. We will be in Barcelona and can fly over - any suggestions?
Thanks for all your help. Yes those are my family pages on Ancestry.com. That is a far as I've gotten. I've hit a roadblock. So I've sent a letter to the archives as well as possible relatives living in Castelfranco. Hopefully, that will shed some more light on my family history.
