Am having some real challenges trying to find out what happened to
my great uncle, Antonio Abate Ricci, aka Abato Ricci, Abato Riccio.

I received correspondence from the Comune di Scala Coeli, CS that he emigrated to Buenos Aires in 1924. A letter he wrote to his son in 1930 stated that he was working in the cheese factory in Buenos Aires and was anxious to receive the paperwork his son was sending to come back to the US.

Then, poof never heard from again. I am aware that CEMLA may have information about him but am really confused by that whole process.

Thinking outside the box, did he perhaps die, was his ship lost at sea, etc.

As always, many thanks in advance for any and all assistance or suggestions.
