Just got off the phone with the Southwest Region of Nara in Fort Worth
Texas, she is checking the index, and calling me back. Will keep you posted.

Back to the state level......

Nara holds the following:
1929 - 1956

1942 - 1955

She also fails to understand why the court does not have this record!!!

I don't know about fun....at times I thought about losing the lady like attitude and resorting to one of a sailor...... :P

We have not achieved our objective, every source I have spoken to assures me in no uncertain terms that the court has the record,.....
other than the microfilm held by ICE, I can find no alternative.
I have one last email out, and I am not holding my breath.

I also searched thru the family history catalog to no avail, I keep getting an error page with their site.

I am not a happy camper!!!

What we need is what they used to call a "PITUTO" in Chile..a fixer who can intervene in our behalf. I can appreciate your position..whether to go back and tell them what Fort Worth Texas NARA stated with emphasis or light a candle and be nicey nice?? =Peter=

I agree that the record is at the courthouse, the public library created their index in I believe 1990, chances are the document was put back but in the wrong place.
How to make the clerk understand that if the record wasn't there then how in hades did the public library get it!!!!!
Common sense people....
