Permesso di soggiorno

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Permesso di soggiorno

Post by jalyn_712 »

I'm going on vacation to my country of origin. However, my permesso di soggiorno has not yet been released as I have renewed it last year. Does anybody know how long can i be allowed to leave Italy bringing only my old permesso di soggiorno and the receipt from the post as evidence that my permesso di soggiorno is still on the process of renewal.

By far, the best place to ask this sort of question is at the ExpatsInItaly site.
