Hello, I'm trying to request a copy of my great grandfather's birth certificate from Mirabella Eclano and I'm not sure how to go about it. I've tried contacting them through their website, but have not received a response. Does anyone have experience with this that could help me out?

Write a letter in Italian and enclose an addressed envelope and some photo ID.

You are right, but not all anagrafe offices have email access and many people who send emails for records don't include a snail mail address and even if the anagrafe office has access they often don't have scanners or the means to send the information.
