That's great to know. Do you have any knowledge as to whether my g-g-grandfather Michele is Concetta's brother, or know the names of Concetta's parents? I am really happy I have hopefully found some new family members. The Guatieri name is only in Australia because I am here. There are no others. My father was the one who emigrated, and he went to NZ not OZ.

Hello, I'm really interested in this thread because I'm researching the Franciosy family name. I believe Peter and Antonio emmigrated from Scapoli and set up an Ice Cream business in the North East of England. According to records this was still in business in 1914!

If you happen to find any info I'd be most greateful if you could share, and I will do the same.

I lived in Detroit with my "great" grandmother Conchetta Fionda, her son, (my grandfather), louis fionda and his wife Mary all from Bristol england. This line of The Fionda name will cease after my brother robert dies.

I have Michael(Michelle)Guatieri's marriage certificate stating that Augustine Guatieri was his father and Concetta therefore is his sister.
